‘If we want to experience heaven on earth, we have to grasp the qualities of nature, the gunas, that is to say the polarity of rajas and tamas, the eternal pulse of nature between movement and stillness, and the higher balancing state of sattva. Nature has degrees of subtlety.’
BKS Iyengar, Light on Yoga Sutras of Patanjali p136
This subject considers that whilst we exist as individuals, we are also an expression of nature. We are formed and grow from foetus to evolve into the conscious beings we are. This pathway of evolution is also recognised as a means to go inwards: a pathway of involution used to trace the source.
The subject is in five parts and contains articles, videos and quotes. It is advisable to not rush through our subjects consuming the content quickly: apply a reflective mode where you might read an article prior to or immediately after practice. Where quotes are used, they are often accompanied by an extract of the text. Look up other quotes used (as they often have the source and page noted)and read a fuller portion of the text. You might consider covering one part of the subject each week. T-Ph06 is a lifetime enrollment.
