The term Citta means consciousness and consciousness is a central theme of Yoga.

Ultimately, Yoga aims to study our consciousness and yet the question of how can mind be used to study consciousness presents us with a difficult challenge. How can we become clear enough within ourselves to free ourselves from suffering. We need a way to test and examine our experience.

The yogic process applies a practice to resolve this conflict and this subject explores practice as a means to explore the things that cause the consciousness to oscillate: Vrttis, Klesas and Antarayas

The subject is in 5 parts and contains articles, videos and quotes. It is advisable to not rush through our subjects consuming the content quickly: apply a reflective mode where you might read an article prior to or immediately after practice. Where quotes are used they are often accompanied by an extract of the text. Look up other quotes used (as they often have the source and page noted) and read a fuller portion of the text. You might consider covering one part of the subject each week. T-Ph24 is a lifetime enrollment.

Please note: copies of Light on Yoga Sutras of Patanjali & Light on Life by BKS Iyengar are advised in this subject to expand your reading
